On March 31, 2003, The Blue Eagle Marching Band travelled to the New Jersey Center for the Performing Arts to participate in the promotional festivities for the opening of the broadway stage show "BLAST" at the center. The band combined its talents with 18 other high school bands for a massive band of close to 1000 members. After some morning rehearsals, the mass band suited up to perform three selections for a promotional TV news spot. The day was fun for everyone, as the students had a chance to meet, talk and play with students from other schools.
